The frame tails have soft handlebar protectors and the attachment loop adapts its position automatically. Secure and comfortable grip on any handlebar diameter.

A black bungee strap is always included in the scope of delivery. With our add-ons you can further pimp your CargoMate. Available are: black-grey (reflective at night), pale rosé, purple, high-vis yellow, dark blue, neon orange, sunshine yellow and olive green.

… a team of product designers who specialise in smart bike accessories since a decade and this is our 20th bike-related campaign. We have been developing bike products since 2014 and the feedback from our Kickstarter community – which totals over 50.000 backers so far – has helped us gain a ton of experience.

Who came up with this idea?
The topic of bicycle transportation has been with us for years, and the diversification of bicycle parts standards leaves little room for universal mounting solutions.
One idea of attaching a rack simple to the handlebars originated in Japan and was introduced already decades ago by the Nitto company, which was founded in 1923. We have adapted this principle to modern bicycle architecture with a wide variety of handlebar and stem dimensions and designed a modern, easy-to-use universal rack with many clever features around it: CargoMate.
Quality you can rely on
A bike rack isn’t rocket science, but it’s not something to be taken on lightly either. We have been working with technically innovative bike accessories for 10 years and are aware of the responsibility we have towards our community. Before we unleashed CargoMate on “our” bikers, you can rest assured that our product was developed with the knowledge of many experts and many miles on the road. Our team consists of product designers, engineers, and craftsmen who know their work. With its specified load capacity, CargoMate is definitely not suitable for transporting people or children and is therefore not subject to any mandatory safety tests. A lightweight solution for the majority of your lightweight transport tasks. CargoMate has a super compact frame design that prevents load swaying due to its size and deliberately avoids unnecessary parts in load-sensitive areas. Simply bombproof, made from a single piece of highly durable stainless steel.
We needed a lot of material setting up the wire bending machine until we were happy with the results. (Don’t worry, there is no real waste. This wire is used to make wire again – in its entirety.)
Our workshop gives us the opportunity to do a lot of prototyping ourselves, and even manufacture components of the CaroMate in-house. This means that all the textile parts of the CargoMate will be made directly by us in the future.
Our fulfillment schedule
We have extensively evaluated CargoMate and our long-term manufacturing partners are ready to go. So this is our roadmap to fulfillment:

- 23. June 2025: start of manufacturing
- 26. June 2025: funds from Kickstarter
- 19. September 2025: end of manufacturing & quality control
- 6. Oktober 2025: start of shipment
