The more you use this shallow frying pan the better the pan performs as it matures.

Fast & Delicious! Toasts a slice of bread in just 90 seconds!

A toaster grills bread too slowly, while a regular frying pan grills it too quickly at a high temperature. Our shallow iron frying pan grills the bread perfectly and quickly, resulting in a crisp outside with a fluffy inside.

Not only for bread, this shallow iron frying pan can also be used as a regular frying pan!

The inspiration for this iron frying pan is to bring to the market a unique and easy to use way to prepare perfectly toasted bread, yet this frying pan can also be used to cook many other foods as well. French toast, pancakes, crepes, okonomiyaki, and dumplings are just some examples of foods that can be prepared to perfection using this shallow frying pan.

❐ Dumplings

was first eaten in China before its origin.

It wasn’t until about a hundred years ago that gyoza became available in Japan.

The reason why most of them are round or drawstring shaped is because they are made in an auspicious shape that brings in good fortune.

Put oil in a frying pan, place the gyoza on the pan, cover with a lid and cook over medium heat.

When the skin changes color, pour in enough hot water (or water) to cover the gyoza about 1/3 of the way up.

Cover with a lid and steam over high heat. When the water has evaporated, remove the lid and sprinkle a little oil on top of the gyoza.

easily prepared to be crispy and delicious!

❐ Okonomiyaki

is one of the world’s most popular rolls and sandwiches (tacos, spring rolls, spring cakes, etc.).

A thin layer of flour is baked, cabbage, bean sprouts, pork, and tenkasu are placed on top, seasoned with each restaurant’s unique seasoning, and baked on one side.

This is then placed on top of the fried soba or udon noodles, and then on top of the eggs that have been cooked separately, and turned over. Finally, top it with okonomi sauce, aonori (green laver), and sesame seeds, and you’re done.

❐ French toast

comes in a variety of textures.

One of the appeals of French toast is that you can enjoy the different textures, from soft and melty to chunky and chunky.

One of the most popular types of French toast is crispy French toast, which, as the name suggests, is “crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside.

While retaining the unique texture of fluffy French toast, the surface is crunchy, making it a very luxurious French toast that allows you to enjoy two textures in one!

❐ Pancakes

are made by mixing flour with eggs, baking powder, sugar, milk, and water, and then baking them on a griddle or frying pan.

In fact, the history of pancakes is said to go back to ancient Greece.

Pancakes” have a thinner batter, while “pancakes” have a thicker batter, but both can be cooked in this pan.

Being shallow this frying pan ensures food can be easily flipped or moved!

The shallow design of this frying pan allows for any ingredients to be turned over easily with a simple spatula, or effortlessly transfered from the pan to a plate!

Compatible with all heat sources, including induction cookers and even an open flame!

This iron frying pan can be used with all heat sources, gas, induction, oven, radiant heater, halogen heater and charcoal fire. Being made of iron, it’s ideal to be used directly in the fire!

The iron frying pan itself can be placed in the fire, however the lid should not as the handle is made of wood.

Being shallow and thin, this pan is light and only 2cm high!

At 2cm high this shallow iron frying pan can be hung on the wall, or stored in a cupboard taking up very little space.

Unique manufacturing technology creates this lightweight and ingenious frying pan!

This frying pan is manufactured using the challenging “spatula drawing process” where a steel plate is rotated at high speed and rollers are then pressed against it to form the shallow pan. The sides and the base are much thinner than could be accomplished with the conventional press process and this results in a lighter pan, ideal to use for toasting bread. As an in-house case study, we calculated that by using our “spatula drawing process” a 20cm frying pan was approxiamtely 20% lighter than would be the case using the more common press process.

Ready to use, no need to spend time tempering your new frying pan!

The ideal material for a frying pan is iron, yet usually when you receive an iron pan it’s essential to go through an arduous preparation process before  it’s ready for use: untreated iron will rust and stick. With our unique shallow iron frying pan, we apply a technology called “Hard Temper Processing” where the iron is “drenched” in an oven at 700℃. This turns the iron bright red and then it is immersed in oil ensuring that the pan is ready to be used, you don’t need to perform any further preparation once you receive it. This immersion (or tempering) of each frying pan is executed by the hand of one of our Japanese craftsmen, a time consuming process which ensures the exceptional quality and effectiveness of our iron frying pan.

Advanced craftsmanship used at every stage!

This unique product has been created utilizing the cutting-edge technology of a long-established metal manufacturer in Osaka. Their innovations over the past 70 years has resulted in them recieving multiple awards such as the “Osaka Monozukuri Excellent Company Award” and the “OMOTENASHI SELECTION 2017” in its hometown of Osaka.

Easy to clean! Just rinse in cold water!

We all want to reduce the time we take with chores and especially washing up! And of course the environmental impact of using too much detergent and hot water is now unacceptable, so yet one more advantage of the shallow iron frying pan is its effortless cleaning. By rinsing with cold water, the pan is cleaned, the integral oils are retained and the pan is ready to use again, so easy and quick!

Exciting options:

iron lid and pan handle covers!

We have also created an iron lid in black iron to compliment and complete the form of the frying pan. The handle is made of beech wood and when seen from the side the unified design of the pan and the lid is stunning.

The iron lid is a prototype image. The size and shape of the wooden lid handle may change during production.
