It’s very simple. Contrary to popular belief, plastics and metals have never gotten along well; thermoaddition or the chemicals used to bind them weaken the structures of conventional optical frames. Bottleyes is designed so that a person with no experience can assemble them in 20 seconds or less. This also helped us deliver a product of this quality at fair prices since we didn’t have to spend on specialized machinery or an assembly line. Never before has owning glasses been so easy.
Thermal tests
We want you to understand how durable our products are. Normally, the average temperature at which this test is conducted is between 30°C (86°F) and 35°C (95°F) because this is the heat range on a sunny beach. Bottleyes are tested at over 55°C (131°F), which means you can use them in Death Valley (one of the hottest places on Earth) without any issues.
Elasticity and Polymer Memory Testing
Normally the elasticity tests are done by subjecting the frame to a specific load, usually between 80Kg and 120Kg because it is the average weight of a person, they want your glasses to be well in case you crush them by accident (But don’t try it, you will surely end up breaking your glasses, the industry is not usually transparent with this). With Bottleyes you can forget about this, as our advanced design and materials have memory and we have subjected them to being crushed with more than ONE TON and crushed by a car and they immediately regain their shape.
